Overview

Become an ethical leader in public health through the Mini Master of Public Health (Mini MPH) program. The program prepares you for positions in health promotion and disease prevention, community mental health, or public healthcare administration. It will teach you effective ways to share your knowledge of preventative medicine and to establish public health initiatives that encourage healthy lifestyles throughout the communities you serve.

Upon completion, you will be able to:

  • Evaluate the environmental factors that affect the health of a community.
  • Align the community to take action—engage partners to address health problems.
  • Analyze the planning, organization, administration, and policies of health care organizations.
  • Apply the concepts and methods of social justice and social and behavioral sciences relevant to the identification and solution of public health problems.
To be awarded the Mini Master of Public Health you must satisfactorily complete all written contributions. Successful students will receive a Mini Master of Public Health. A transcript detailing the course will be issued to successful students.

The Mini Master of Public Health is delivered at AIES approved centers over the course of 6 months.

  • PH 518 - Public Health Informatics
  • PH 520 - Public Health Leadership
  • PH 525 - Global Health Ethics and Human Rights
  • PH 530 - Project
