The Executive Diploma in Nutrition is a comprehensive career development program designed for those interested in further developing and formalizing their current skills to adapt themselves, and their organizations to an ever-changing and complex environment.

Overview

The Executive Diploma in Nutrition and Food Science will train students in nutrition as it relates to the dynamic influences of diet, society, exercise, stress and disease. Students will learn nutrition principles; how to assess nutritional status of individuals, communities, and populations; and how to develop and evaluate nutrition interventions at the individual, community, and population level. The Executive Diploma provides a proven pathway to the AIES Mini Master of Nutrition and Food Science.

Upon completion, you will be able to:

Apply key principles, concepts and evidence-based knowledge of nutrition and health to nutrition related health problems.
Select and use appropriate modes of communication to obtain and share evidence-based nutrition knowledge.
Analyze and synthesize information and problems in nutrition, to inform high level independent judgements.
Apply best practice and evidence to identify problems and generate practical solutions to a range of nutrition issues.
Employ personal accountability and demonstrate effective work practices, responsible judgement, adaptability to new situations and responsibility as a nutritionist.
Establish, contribute and maintain a key role in relationships with a range of stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes to advance nutrition sciences.

To be awarded the Executive Diploma in Nutrition and Food Science you must satisfactorily complete all written contributions. Successful students will receive an Executive Diploma. A transcript detailing the course will be issued to successful students.

Program Structure

The Executive Diploma in Nutrition and Food Science is delivered at AIES approved centers over the course of 6 months (each level). The Executive Diploma has a compact structure and consists of three levels.
