Course Description

This course explores the health challenges and issues that impact populations at both local and global levels. The course covers key topics such as infectious diseases, chronic diseases, health disparities, maternal and child health, environmental health, and the social determinants of health. Students will learn about the role of international health organizations, governments, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in addressing global health crises and promoting health equity. The course emphasizes the importance of collaboration, policy, and innovative solutions in improving health outcomes worldwide.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
