This course focuses on the theories, processes, and strategies involved in facilitating and managing change within communities. This course examines the dynamics of community change, including the roles of various stakeholders, the impact of social, economic, and political factors, and methods for implementing effective change initiatives. Students will explore case studies of successful and unsuccessful community change efforts, and learn about strategies for overcoming resistance, mobilizing resources, and achieving sustainable outcomes.
