This course covers various assessment methods, including formal and informal assessments, standardized testing, and authentic assessments. Students will learn how to apply assessment data to inform instructional decisions and support the individual needs of children. Ethical considerations and cultural responsiveness in assessment practices are also emphasized. Through practical exercises and case studies, students will gain the skills necessary to conduct developmentally appropriate assessments in early childhood education settings.
