Certified Trade Rule Litigation Specialist

Overview

The Certified Trade Rule Litigation Specialist (CTRLS) is a 3-month program designed to help lawyers worldwide develop the skills and competence needed to apply relevant trade rules and articles when structuring transactions using trade finance instruments. It also builds their capacity to effectively handle litigation involving any form of trade rules and articles.

The CTRLS program enables lawyers to demonstrate expertise in handling eight key trade rules and articles in international trade, including UCP600, ISBP745, URC522, URR725, URDG758, Incoterms 2020, eUCP, and ISP98.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completing the Certified Trade Rule Litigation Specialist program, students will be able to:

Course Structure

Duration: 3 months
Targets: Lawyers handling trade litigation, those working in banks, multinational organizations, financial institutions, drafting guarantees and Standby LCs, and lawyers in FMCG sectors.
Study Time: 1 hours per day (equivalent to 60 hours total)

Course Modules

The course is structured over three months, with each month featuring a carefully designed module that builds on the knowledge gained in the previous one, ensuring a steady and practical learning progression. The modules include:
