Code of Conduct Policy

At AIES, we expect all approved centers to maintain the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical behavior. The Code of Conduct Policy ensures that both staff and students operate in an environment that is respectful, inclusive, and conducive to learning.

Key Principles:

  1. Respect for All Individuals
Centers must foster an environment of respect, fairness, and inclusivity, ensuring that all students, staff, and colleagues are treated with dignity regardless of their background, gender, ethnicity, or beliefs.

  2. Professionalism
All staff are expected to demonstrate professionalism in their interactions with students, colleagues, and partners. This includes punctuality, adherence to deadlines, and maintaining a positive, solution-oriented approach.

  3. Integrity
Centers must operate with honesty and transparency in all dealings, including financial practices, program delivery, and student evaluations. Any form of dishonesty, including falsifying records, grades, or information, is strictly prohibited.

  4. Compliance with Policies and Regulations
Centers must adhere to AIES’s policies and any applicable local laws or regulations governing education. This includes following guidelines related to program delivery, student assessments, and data protection.

  5. Anti-Discrimination and Equal Opportunity
Centers must actively promote a learning environment free from discrimination or harassment. This includes ensuring equal access to opportunities for all students and staff, regardless of race, gender, disability, or any other protected characteristic.

  6. Conflict of Interest
Center staff must avoid situations that create conflicts of interest or undermine the integrity of their work. Any potential conflicts should be disclosed and addressed appropriately.

  7. Confidentiality
Protect the confidentiality of student records, staff information, and other sensitive data in line with AIES’s Data Protection and Privacy Policy.

  8. Health and Safety
Centers are required to maintain a safe and secure environment for students and staff, ensuring compliance with local health and safety regulations.

  9. Student-Centered Approach
All interactions, decisions, and actions must prioritize the best interests of the students, ensuring that their educational experience is enriching and supportive.

  10. Continuous Improvement
Centers must commit to ongoing self-evaluation and improvement, striving for excellence in program delivery, student support, and operational practices.

Enforcement and Accountability:

Non-compliance with the Code of Conduct Policy may result in disciplinary actions, up to and including revocation of AIES center approval.
