Information Technology Project Management

This course introduces students to the principles and practices of managing IT projects. The course covers essential topics such as project planning, scope management, time and cost estimation, risk management, quality assurance, and stakeholder communication. Students will learn how to apply project management methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall, to ensure the successful delivery of IT projects. The course emphasizes the importance of meeting project objectives on time and within budget while managing resources and adapting to changes in project requirements.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

• Understanding IT Project Management Fundamentals: Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the key principles of IT project management, including project life cycles, methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), and the roles and responsibilities of project managers.
• Developing Project Plans and Managing Scope: Learn how to create detailed project plans that define project scope, set objectives, allocate resources, and establish timelines to ensure the successful execution of IT projects.
