Welcome to the Public Health Program at AIES, designed specifically for Malawi, to cultivate professionals who are well-equipped to tackle the country’s distinctive public health challenges. This comprehensive program is structured into four progressive levels—Foundation Diploma, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, and Professional Diploma—each completed over six months. It combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience, focusing on both fundamental and advanced public health concepts. Students will explore key areas such as public health principles, epidemiology, health promotion, and health policy, gaining the skills to address both local and global health issues. Upon graduation, they will be prepared to design and implement impactful programs that enhance health outcomes and reduce disparities.
