Community and Problem-Oriented Policing

This course explores strategies and approaches in community policing and problem-oriented policing. This course examines the principles and practices of fostering strong community-police partnerships to address public safety and crime prevention. Students will learn about various models of community policing, problem-solving techniques, and the role of law enforcement in community engagement. The course emphasizes practical skills in collaboration, crime analysis, and strategic planning to enhance community safety and build trust between law enforcement and community members.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
